Payment Methods
Southern Lights accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit cards. In general we do not charge credit and debit cards until we ship your order to you.

Sales Tax
Southern Lights charges sales tax on all orders placed in Minnesota. If you have tax-exempt status, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-903-0960.

Return Policy
Southern Lights makes returns easy and fast. To begin the return process, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-903-0960.
General Returns
Returns of products purchased from Southern Lights are allowed within 30 days of purchase, provided that the product is undamaged, in the original packaging, and was not installed or modified. The full purchase price is refundable less a 20% restocking charge. Shipping charges for the return shipment are the responsibility of the customer. Refunds are made once the returned product is inspected to insure it is not damaged. All returns must have a Returned Merchandise Authorization number which is available from customer service. Please contact customer service at 1-800-903-0960 to begin the return process.
Returns for Damaged Products
Customers must notify Southern Lights within two weeks (14 days) after receipt of any products which are defective or received damaged. The customer will have the following options: order a replacement fixture in exchange for the damaged fixture, or return the damaged fixture for a full refund of the purchase price less a 20% restocking charge. Southern Lights regrets that we will not be able to offer a replacement fixture or refund in cases where notification of damage occurs after two weeks from receipt of the product. All returns must have a Returned Merchandise Authorization number which is available from customer service. Please contact customer service at 1-800-903-0960 to begin the return process.

Order Time
Because Southern Lights offers a large selection of lighting fixtures, we are unable to keep all fixtures in stock. We order any fixtures not in stock directly from the manufacturer, and these are often made to order. Due to this, if an item is not in stock, the typical ordering time is between 2 and 6 weeks.

Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled at any time before shipment for a full refund. If shipment has been made, orders are subject to our Return Policy.

Shipping Policy
Southern Lights offers $5.99 shipping on every order to locations within the contiguous 48 States, excluding products made by Casablanca Fan Co. We ship your order using FedEx Ground which will take five to seven working days after shipment to arrive.
We do not ship to locations outside the United States or to U.S. terrotories.
Please provide a street address as we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes.
Rush delivery is also available at an additional charge and is dependant upon availability of stock.

Warranty Details
Southern Lights offers a 1 year warranty on all fixtures except for Polished Brass exterior fixtures (see below). Please address warranty questions by calling Customer Service at 1-800-903-0960.
Polished Brass exterior fixtures carry a warranty of 3 months. Darkening and weathering of Polished Brass when used in an exterior application is considered by the manufacturer to be a characteristic and not a defect.
